Des's car is quick no question of that, but to achieve 290 km/h (180 mph) is just not feasable as the runway isn't sufficiently long enough to achieve that kind of speed. The other thing to keep in mind is that a speedo indicated 180mph is probably nearer 165mph GPS. I also managed to cook my brakes stopping in time.

Crake, Don't know if it was you in the car at the time but I managed 170MPH before running out of gonads.

I would just like also say what a great time we had and many thanks to Petr. The airfield and the meet in the woods was great. Nice to meet everyone and see what you have done to your cars.

There has obviously been a lot of time, effort and money gone into that car but it's not really my cup of tea even though it is very well done. To be honest I will only do body mods if they improve the aerodynamics, gives me more down force, reduces the weight of the car or allows me to run wider wheels/rubber........but it was good looking at the girls. i think in Czech, there are lot of small companys, that build sport cars... they do special carbon parts. But u must tell them what u want and they´ll do it... ill try to get more info or website... Carbon

There is some cool stuff on there but I was after some carbon or better still WRC bits, like a bonnet, wings, arches etc. Anything like that around.
