Hi everyone,

I have found a spoiler lip for the frontbumper. But I don´t know what company which sell it so hopefully someone on the forum maybe can tell me. Is there anyone who recognize the lip?

I guess the lip is produce i Czech.

Hope someone can help me with an e-mail address to the company!

Ahoj,

Is there really nobody who recognize the spoiler-lip, where I can find it? As I think, it is made in Czech, right or wrong?

Why I ask is because I want to find out if this spoiler-lip fits the original frontbumper of Fabia from 2005 and newer. And I don´t know if the size is exact the same between the older and newer frontbumper. Anyone who can tell me that maybe?

There is a company here in Sweden which sell the lip, but they can´t answer my question and I don´t want to buy a thing that doesn´t fit.

Hopefully someone can tell me something. Or? :(

Patrik

TDIfurby - do you, or anyone else here on the forum, know if the frontbumper to a Fabia vRS do the car "lower" in the front than an original frontbumper to a Fabia hatchback 1.4? (Hope you know what I mean)

I have thought a bit about to put a Fabia vRS frontbumper instead of the original front I have on my Fabia.

Yes, I have seen a lot of Furbys at Briskoda that have the splitter from Leon Cupra, looks nice! Is the splitter difficult to fit? Here in Sweden it´s only Octy drivers that put the Leon Cupra splitters on their vRS cars.

So if it´s simple to change frontbumber and put a splitter on it, maybe it´s a solution to the "high" frontbumper I have today on my car.

I know the vRS bumper is a bit lower at the front and a bit more straight down and in, whereas the older bumpers (like mine, although mine's a bit modded) have more curvy gradual lines in and under, which means the splitter does not work as well. I have no plans to fit one as I think it affects the aerodynamics at speed. I think my smoother bumper and curves makes it a little better.

The vRS bumper will go on any other fabia, but you would need to find the round foglights (mine are square) and make sure all the trim is there. I like that bumper, but I just want to keep mine more "old skool" looking - retain some of the car's original style.

You´re right, Jason. I think that vRS has worse coeficient of aerodynamic drag then the ordinary one. Guess it is mainly due to the front bumper.

Just found it - vRS has 0.33 while the ordinary one 0.30 ;)

GREAT!!! Thank U very much Jason and Petr for your excellent support to my questions. :D

What would life be without this great forum!

3 cm "lower" with a vRS frontbumper, ok - a little bit different and lower will it be then. Great! And then with a Leon Cupra splitter it will a bit more lower ;)

It´s a pity that it´s so far to Lamino. The vRS frontbumper that Lamino have modified for fru fru is so wonderful (my personal opinion :) ).
