Hi everyone, On the Octavia I there appears to be a relay in the position 3 of the main relay block (just above the bolt terminals 30 30 77 87F etc) From what I have found out it may be an "Instrument Lighting Relay" with a part number possibly 1U0941243B (or C) although I cannot yet confirm this. Does anyone know what pinouts are on this relay, and which pin goes into which socket on the relay plate? I am mainly looking for what signal comes out of each relay socket in the position 3 of the plate. I know the pin labeled #9 is 31 earth. The pins are lablelled 9 - Earth 10 11 12 13 14 15 on the relay plate socket. Thank you for any information. Graeme

Hi everyone, I have in my Octavia MFD2 Nexus navi with cd-drive. But without original map cd’s I use it only as cd player / radiotuner. Original cd’s for Nexus haven’t maps of Belarus and Lithuania, which I need… Thinking about try to use PDA (HP Ipaq 2200) for navi… but its necessary additional GPS module. Here is question: Is it possible to connect PDA to Nexus GPS module installed in my Octavia using Bluetooth or something else? Thanks in advance!

Hello 2 everybody. I'm goin to order O2 RS in Czech Republic. When i was making car at configurator i've seen Light Assistant option, but in nearest Skoda Service when i was asking about this option they replied that it's completely useless in Czech Republic because of the law which says that frontlights must be switched on 24 hours a day. I want to ask u if i had to order Light Assistant with my O2 RS or it's completely useless? thx

A lorry carrying nine brand new Skoda vehicles on its back hit a skywalk connecting two buildings in the Czech Republic when its driver underestimated the height of his valuable load. From what we can tell, at least six of the nine Octavias and Fabias onboard were in one way or another damaged. Hello! I've got a Skoda Octavia 1.9 TDI 2002 and a strange whistling noise came out a couple of months ago. It starts from the moment I start the engine, and goes out in a few minutes when the engine warms up a bit (everything happens while standing in place, not riding). It is rhytmical and sounds like a leak of compressed air, it is fair loud and comes out from right side of the engine... It becomes more frequent while I press the accellerator. Can somebody please suggest what could it be? Thanks.

Skoda Octavia Scout What's this? Tour 4x4 or Universal?

Hi there. A little tough to post on this site when all the buttons and forum functions are in a foreign language so i hope this comes out right. In Sweden the Octavia 2 RS doesnt come with multifunctional steering wheel. So im wondering if any of you guys have managed to change it, either from the Golf Gti wich has it or the multi steering wheel that comes with the non Rs models from Skoda. Thanks in advance. Fredrik
