You need the Secret Key Code (SKC) from the cluster to do the swap. If you go to Skoda dealer they have to go online to retrieve it. They cannot even view the SKC and tell you what it is. VAGCOM cannot retrieve SKC. If you have vagtacho or vagdash program etc then you can retrieve it yourself. You must have the SKC for the immobilizer matching.

On some Fabia /Roomsters is a switch inside the fusebox to turn off/on the Daytime Running Lights. The part numbers are: Switch: 5J0 941 503 WHS Connector Plug: 8N0 971 636 Plus of course you need to have thr DRL relay fitted Graeme

Hi everyone, On the Octavia I there appears to be a relay in the position 3 of the main relay block (just above the bolt terminals 30 30 77 87F etc) From what I have found out it may be an "Instrument Lighting Relay" with a part number possibly 1U0941243B (or C) although I cannot yet confirm this. Does anyone know what pinouts are on this relay, and which pin goes into which socket on the relay plate? I am mainly looking for what signal comes out of each relay socket in the position 3 of the plate. I know the pin labeled #9 is 31 earth. The pins are lablelled 9 - Earth 10 11 12 13 14 15 on the relay plate socket. Thank you for any information. Graeme

I am actually retrofitting the relay to a 2004 Golf IV R32 with Xenons! Can you please translate the following items? J343 J344 J571 relay M29, M30 M31 and M32 A26 (door contact?) Everything else is clear to me. Thanks again for your help, Ace.

I have also bought one of the plug in "Coming Home Light" relays that fit in the Superb. Part Number 3U0941597A Do you possibly have a schematic for that as well? I promise that this is the last request of this type that I will ever require again!

Does anyone have a wiring diagram showing the connection for the Puddle lights ("Umfeldbeleuchtung") that fit under the exterior mirrors. Looking for a wiring diagram to show where the wires are actually connected from the LEDs They would be shown on either the Comfort Wiring digram or the exterior mirror diagram.
